Indonesia is a beautiful county. There are so many islands in Indonesia, there are thousands islands in Indonesia. One of them is Weh Island.
Weh Island is in the eastern of Indonesia. This island is in the north of Sumatera Island. This island is belong to Aceh Province. This island located in Andaman Sea. The largest city in this island is Sabang and mostly people in this island are Muslim.
How to go to this island? Read this, there is no airport in this island. You can fly to Bandara Udara Sultan Iskandar Muda, in Aceh. And from the airport you can go by taxi, bus (Damri), becak bermotor (motorcycle), and labi-labi(traditional transportation) to the port Pelabuhan Ulee Lheue. By taxi is about $2 from the airport to theport.
There are two ways from the port Pelabuhan Ulee Lheue to the Weh Island. One by speedboat and the other one is by ferry. By speedboat is about $7 and by ferry is about $2. There three ferry schedule each day, at 8.00 AM, 11 AM, and 4.00 PM. The duration by ferry is about two hours. And by speedboat is about 45 minutes. Speedboat has two schedule each day, at 8 AM and 2.30 PM.
There are some beaches in this island. This island is surrounded by beautiful sea, and this sea is wildlife protection area. Coral reef areas around the island are known for their large variety of fish species and the coral is so beautiful. This island is small, this island can be visited only in a day by rental vehicle. 1. Anoi Itam Beach

Anoi Itam Beach, Itam means black, this beach has black sand, a half-hour drive from Balohan Port. With small fee, visitor can enter Anoi Itam Resort with beautiful scenery.
2. Gapang Beach

Gapang Beach is 17 miles (27 km) from Sabang or one hour drive and convenience for backpackers with modest culinary stalls and accommodations, however has a dive resort.
3. Iboih Beach

Iboih Beach, 5 km (3 mi) from Gapang Beach is the busiest beach in Weh
Island and is cheaper than Gapang Beach. The white sandy beach itself is
only 150 metres (492 ft) long, yet it is considered a paradise for
backpackers because Rubiah Island is directly offshore from it.
